Athalassa National Park, Nicosia

An Amazing place to go! You can go to the park using a car and parking in one of the 2 main parking lots on each side of the park. Walking around the park is amazing, although in the summer it can get hot. I would recommend going from sometime in February-May or even during Autumn months. Bikes are also an amazing thing to use to get to know the park, the large amount of trails in which are available for biking are uncountable! At one of the areas of the park there is a mini cafeteria and a play area to rest. I would personally avoid going to the canteen since on Weekends, Birthdays and other sort of celebratory events happen there. Personally I would recommend bringing a sort of Picnic style inventory, setting up on a bench and eating a sandwich! Try to leave the park by late sunset since staying inside the park by night could be dangerous

Lovely park with a little pond/lake/reservoir with swans and ducks. They have walking path and bike path too. We went there to walk and took about 1h to go around all the way. Simple park, well maintained.
