Create an itinerary including Louvre Museum
With an impressive collection of 30,000 pieces, it's nearly impossible to see all of Louvre Museum. The three "Great Ladies,” Venus de Milo, Winged Victory of Samothrace, and Mona Lisa, may be the museum’s most well-known attractions. The Michelangelo gallery is just one of 30-plus galleries, each with a theme, such as bronze. Masterpieces aren't the only pieces that stand out. Religious artifacts include a fragment of the Egyptian Book of the Dead on papyrus. Even more impressive is the Code of Hammurabi from the Mesopotamian civilization. English-language tours are available on several days, but you need advance registration. Join a city museum tour or order tickets in advance so you won't wait in a long line to gain entry. • Again, a no-brainer. One of the best places to visit while in Paris. I'm not talking only about the Mona Lisa, but all the things inside. You have sculptures, pictures, and other historical pieces...

  • Well, this place deserves 5 Star from Artistic point of view, no doubt in it. My rating is more from logistic and ease of visit for tourist's point of view. First of all, expect a huge crowd, queues, waiting time and a lot of walking if you are visiting. Keep at least 5-6 hours for this place if you want to spend quality time for appreciating arts. You can buy online ticket, we paid 17 Euro. As the crowd is huge and majority of tourists are non local so there should be proper signage in English. It gets really chaotic as once you enter you don't know where to go, from where to start, etc. There should be proper signage and directions and that should be there for entire route so that people know which path to take so that people don't miss any part and don't roam in circles. It gets very tiring and frustrating because of absence of such information/ directions. Also, I feel there should be arrangements of drinking water from Authorities, it was a hot day and didn't find any option of having water. I would request authorities to learn from other countries and do some arrangements for people/tourist who are giving you the business. For now, I would recommend everyone to bring a lot water and eatables, chocolate/energy bars to keep going. The paintings, statues, and arts are marvellous and enough have been said about them by experts so I will keep my mouth shut. Enjoy!!
  • Love the pyramids. Such a lovely place to sit out side. My boy loved hanging around here while we sat and had out lunch. Took lots of great photos. It was clean and tidy. You can down the pyramid and see the museum. Looks so amazing.
