Malzards Pub, Kilkenny

My first trip to Ireland and the second stop was in Kilkenny. As part of our tour package they rented out a small space in this pub for us to relax and enjoy ourselves. Boy did we ever! The music was fantastic, and the owner and bartenders treated us like family. They showed us how to play the game of hurling, let us come behind the bar and pour our own pints and other drinks! We danced, planned musical instruments and the experience was like something out of a movie… I couldn’t have asked for a better more loving team of people hosting us crazy Americans for the night

Time spent at Malzards is unforgettable. The fun, the sense of community, and the hospitality are on full display. Fred is a gracious host and you’ll be sure to enjoy yourself.
