The layout of the church is typical basilica style. The frescos are nice, but I have seen better other places which is the reason why I do not give this church a higher score.

Such a fascinating, historic cave church with good remains of medieval frescoes. We were with a guide so he explained some of the church’s history and the frescoes, which was really good. No photos...

Amazing! Don’t miss it if you like history and art. You can’t take pics inside. A church dating back to 8th Century. Inside you can see some frescoes from the 13th century onwards. There is an interesting one of the Virgin breastfeeding.
