Many tourists stop by to take pictures of it. I don't think it is worth it unless you are visiting / finding the other trees.

I heard these trees have been popular since they were aired on an advertisement of a Japanese tabacco company, Seven Stars. They are standing on a part of the famous Patchwork Road.

I enjoyed this photo stop. The tree is pretty and the pastures are a perfect backdrop. Good place to stop for a break when driving to/from Furano. Note: there are no bathroom or vending facilities here.
