Wow! This open air museum has everything. From Picasso works to a tower of stained glass. There is even moving artwork. Give yourself several hours to visit

Love this place! It's so amazing to get to go to an outdoor museum and most of the art is stunning. It's a very "Instagram-able" place. There is also a massive Picasso collection. If you have decent weather (or don't mind the rain), I highly recommend a visit. Be sure not to miss the stained glass tower--I promise it's with the stair climb!

This museum is in fact a very original mixture of a contemporary art museum, set in a beautiful park and offering some super fun kids' attractions. The contemporary art collection is striking. I would never have thought to see Picasso, Du Buffet and many other great artists in the mountains of Hakone. This place was a real joy to visit, and great fun for both parents and kids. And some of the games were as fun for the kids as for the parents (such as a super cool maze where all people 'lost' in there were running and laughing like kids...).
