We spent almost a hour at the money washing temple in our detour from the Daibutsu Hiking Course. To get here you take a marked turn off the hiking course, if you are coming from the Jochiji Temple..... more

One of the most special place to come meditate in Kamakura. There is a ceremony in which you wash bills and coins as to get luck at money. I like the small tea house next to the temple. You have to get through a small tunnel to access this shrine. A 20 min walk from Kita-Kamakura station.
