Kyoto Insider Sake Experience, Kyoto

This was a fantastic experience and very informative. I learned so much about sake, even how to read the bottles in Japanese! Our guide took the time to walk us through exactly how sake is made, including the various rice used, the polish levels, etc. I got to sample 10 different sakes, including with food and finally got to zero in on which kind of sake I like. I absolutely recommend you check them out when staying in Kyoto.

We did the Advanced Sake Tasting. Absolutely brilliant. A full breakdown of what Sake is and a logical approach to the different types of Sake available on the market and why they taste the way they do. The guide was friendly, insightful and hilarious! Would recommend to anyone who enjoys sake or would like to find out more about it.
