An original Japanese addition to Tokyo Disneyland, Tokyo DisneySea features nautically themed attractions, rides, and shows inspired by myths of the sea. The park contains seven different areas: Mermaid Lagoon, American Waterfront, Lost River Delta, Port Discovery, Arabian Coast, Mediterranean Harbor, and Mysterious Island. Check out the Venetian gondolas, an underwater world out of the imagination of the science fiction writer Jules Verne, and the S.S. Columbia steamship. Unlike its neighboring Disneyland, this park contains higher quality dining options where guests can order alcoholic beverages. Tokyo Disney Sea was wonderful. The food and the attractions were great. However, I suggest that you visit Tokyo Disneyland if you want to truly experience the Disney magic.

I went to Disney Sea few months before the pandemic started. It's a premium theme park however the queues are endless and some of the rides are closed. It's a romantic place to be fair and good...

It's hard to decide which Disney park I like best. I think I do favor Sea a bit more. It's certainly romantic at nighttime! Getting standby passes with the app. still isn't too smooth and you can only get about 2 passes each visit. But it's a great place to go if you can!

An incredible experience that is immersive like no where else. Excellent food, well crafted rides, and beautiful scenery, it balances the fun Disney spirit with a authenticity and attention to detail that really isn't rivaled. It is great for kids and adults alike and the rides are engaging but not craziest in terms of thrill. Disney sea being unique to Japan gives a different flavour than your typical Disney park experience. Each harbour has a distinct flavour but the thematic waterfronts running through each of them ties them together nicely, making the walk into each section engaging but not jarring. There is truly not a dull angle to look at the park from. This is a must go if you are at all a fan of Disney and in Tokyo.
