Translated as bridge of heaven (?) Very unique place to find beach(es) planted with pine tree. You can rent a bike here to cross the island for about 40 minutes or just walk around enjoying the nature and also the sound of eagle. Other entertainment also provided such as ferry and theme park.

It is one of Japan's three scenic views. The sandbar is located in Miyazu Bay in northern Kyoto Prefecture. Viewed from the mountains at either end of the bay, the Amanohashidate Sandbar (which roughly translates to "bridge in heaven") looks like a pathway between heaven and earth.
