An auspicious Shinto site, Atsuta Jingu Shrine draws 9 million annual visitors who come to pay respect to its imperial history and marvel at its many relics and treasures. Emperor Keiko, who reigned between 71 and 130 CE, established the shrine to house a legendary sword that was one of three key pieces of Japan's imperial regalia. Pretty awesome place to pay a visit with family! An historic temple with a long history in Japan. It definitely worth being visited. Great place to go with family/ friends. It's a place with a long history. Roughly it takes around 1 hour to cover the entire area. There are few restuarants and food stalls inside the premises. Washrooms available. Enough parking spaces available. I think evening is the best time to visit here.
