It is like many other covered shopping streets in Japan. There are many restaurants. Nice to walk through on the way to the Osu Temple.

I assumed that Friday night was busier, but I'm wrong. Nevertheless, I enjoyed the atmosphere here because it's less hectic than other shopping areas in Japan. Make sure to get there early, because by 8 o'clock most shops were already closed. The tax-free shops are still open, and it is recommended to buy souvenirs there because the costs are lower than in other parts of Nagoya.

Absolutely love this place, full of interesting shops and a wide variety of food from different countries too. We walked around for 2-3 hours to explore every corner of the streets.
