Modoroki Shrine, Otsu

After passing through a tunnel on the way from Kyoto and running about 1km toward Lake Biwa, you will see the red bridge on your left. The shrine itself is a small shrine with a long history in the area in the mountains. You can see from the vermilion torii gate to the main hall in the back, but when you enter the precincts, you will feel something strange even in the small frame, and you will want to spend some time there. Now is also the season of autumn leaves, so it's just right for a short break from cycling or driving😅 As an evaluation, it will be a standard ⭐3 🙇

Returning Shrine (Modoroki) There is no end to the worshipers praying for safe travels, traffic safety, recovery from illness, recovery of health, and the return of strangers. First of all, the huge ginkgo tree next to the torii gate will catch your eye. After passing through the torii, the precincts were very beautifully maintained and I was able to visit comfortably. In addition to the goshuin, the amulet was also very fulfilling. Wishing for your safety and well-being, I purchased a frog amulet to commemorate my visit to Kakurai Shrine. It is a shrine that I would like to visit again in the season of autumn leaves.
