A big draw during hanami, the quiet city oasis of Maruyama Park boasts many cherry trees, blooming with color during the spring time. If you're exploring the area, the park makes a good place to stop and have a picnic away from the city bustle, and a peaceful stroll through the grounds reveals a duck pond and babbling streams. The star attraction of the park however, is the enormous weeping cherry tree, blooming spectacularly in spring, and illuminated after nightfall to striking effect. If visiting during the cherry blossom season, prepare for big crowds and high-spirited revelry deep into the night. • Many early spring flowering trees are in bloom - beautiful plum and magnolia 🌸 The park also has a shrine you can visit. Easy walking paths to view the sakura. Overall the park is quite lovely and has other things you can visit.
  • It's fine. They have a lion, polar bear, monkeys, deers, penguins, hyena, zebra, hippopotamus, ostrich etc. Plenty of washrooms, kids play area such as jungle gym near monkeys, small park for kids with slides and other things is there. Apart from this nursing room, observation deck, vending machines, cafes are there. Staff members are cooperative.
