Sapporo Mitsukoshi, Sapporo

The food in basement 1 & 2 is very good and it is so much fun to walk around and buy things to try. B2 seemed to be all desserts. The only negative is there is no where to sit and eat your food! Odori park is about a 3 minute walk from Mitsukoshi but I didn’t feel Odori park was a super comfortable place to sit and eat. No benches.

One of the better department store in Sapporo for your tax free shopping needs subject to a minimum spend of 5000 yen. It carries a wide variety of Ladies and men clothing ,bags, shoes etc.as well exclusive designer brands . In the basement lies a gourmet's paradise, offering an overwhelming choice of mochi, sweets and condiments as well as typical japanese cuisine like ramen and sushi .The basement is crowded during peak lunch hours so be prepared to wait awhile at the cashier for payment. Recommended stop for your next shopping trip!
