  • Scenic lakeshore walk with various sculptures dedicated to victims of volcano eruption. Within walking distance to Nishiyama Crater Walking trail, which also worth a visit.

  • I didn't have time to walk the whole park and came just to see the mask sculpture, and it was worth the few minutes we stopped by. Stunning piece of artwork.

  • This park has an incredible array of fall colors to enjoy in late October. There are 3 major sculptures to visit and many more beautiful locations to take personal photographs with friends. Right now the kids playgrounds are all roped off and covered with tarps, probably to prevent the spread of corona. They didn't seem to be in bad condition. Also the garden area is also not in season for blooms, but the fall leaves are stunning all around and there are many benches under wisteria bushes that look really promising for the spring. The park is really easy to access and park at off of the highway, and you can see the mountains really well across the water. Really worth your time to stop and visit on your way in or out of town!
  • Perfect park for viewing the water and enjoying the fresh air. Several parking spots with spread out outside art displays. Lacks food establishments and the like but if you want to just walk the bank, perfect place to do so.
