  • My visit to this place was on Day 2 of staying in Yakushima Island. Unbelievable adventure. While the hike itself steep at times, it was worth it!! Steve from YES tours did an awesome job and will...

  • It takes about 5 hours to finish the trip, but it is totally worthy. There are rivers, forest, green moss, lovely trees on the way, love it!

  • Despite beautiful place, It's a hard trecking into the jungle. You hike the most of the time going up. Bathroom is available at the entrance of the treck and another 5 km ahead. There is no beverage machine. At the first bridge you need to choose between two trails, the one crossing the bridge you have more chance to see monkeys.
  • Such a beautiful place to visit. The drive up the mountain was cool (saw a couple of monkeys on the way there) and the hike was well worth it. Total hiking time was four hours from entrance to Taikowa Rock and back. Lots to see along the way!
