  • A very cool experience! Was able to be right up close to the bathing snow monkeys. The mothers had new babies and the little ones would run between my legs and push at me. Really fun experience

  • monkeys are wild ... their behavior is irregular especially autumn season... The monkeys visit the park year-round, and can be seen soaking in the hot springs in winter. December to March is usually the best time to witness them bathing. The park also aimed to keep the monkeys in the area and away from their other great love, pillaging the neighboring farmland. Staff at the park have fed the monkeys daily ever since its opening. They live in the surrounding mountains, but come down for the free meals. • One of the best places I've been to in Japan. The hike up was scenic and just magical. I was lucky because there were a lot of monkeys out on that day. The monkeys are super cute and completely harmless. I would recommend this place to anyone. I went there at the end of December.
