A great museum covering not only the history of Jurmala but also representing the local art. Very informative and free of charge. Definitely a must go

The Jūrmala City Museum tells the story of Jūrmala's beginnings as a holiday resort, and how it developed from the end of the 19th century until today. Upstairs, during our visit there were 30 different exhibitions with paintings, sculptures and photographs. Very interesting to learn about the background that created the seaside resort.
