  • There are numerous paintings in the museum. Many of these are from the 1980's-90's, some from the first half of the 20th century. I am not an art expert, you must therefore take my comments with a pinch of salt. But this is still the best thing I have seen in Riga. As mentioned by some reviewers already, the museum staff will keep following you. This makes it too difficult to enjoy anything, even if it is with enjoying.
  • They have a golden elevator ♡ Beautiful museum. Very modern and well maintained. Entrance fee was quite cheap. Lots of pretty paintings. Was only sad that the rooftop was closed on the day of my visit.
