Originally commissioned by Prince Moulay Abdeslam, and developed into a botanical garden by the French, the park fell into disuse after the colonial era. Reopened in 2005, the park boasts many traditional features, including a wealth of fruiting trees like lemons, mandarins, oranges, and olives, as well as a more contemporary area with large lawns, water features, and walkways. The real twist comes in the cyber areas, with Wi-Fi connection points making this a popular place for lunch breaks and study sessions.
