  • A gem of a little museum. Seeing the historical photos and faces and then walking outside and feeling that things are held in time is magical! The photographs make an excellent souvenir.

  • Definitely worth your money. 1) Not only do you get to see Morocco through the colonial European gaze but you can also enjoy watching the white people around you voyeuristically reliving the height of their imperial past. Two entertaining experiences all in one. 2) They have carefully curated their collection by proving that there hasn’t been a single local Moroccan photographer throughout history anywhere. 3) See a succinct history of Morocco below that begins with a French dude’s discovery of the country in 1832 and ends with the French withdrawal in face of Morocco independence in 1950s. Never has history been so straightforwardly produced for your enjoyment.
  • It's a nice museum and perhaps the best part is the documentary movie being played on Berbers. It also has nice decorations and terrace. But given the price and size of the place and the other possibilities in Marrakech I would not prioritize this museum.
