  • Only 3 days around in Nagarkot. Panoramic trail is full of peace. I also loved to wonder around from small villages to another, going uphill and find besutiful hidden places. Was also lucky to see a small part of the mountain range. For sure going back 2023 in october
  • Mount Nagarkot is about an hour's bus ride from Kathmandu. It's a fairly easy trek but does take time. We had a Tibetan guide who knew the trail and its hazards, but he had us stop to rest halfway up in a leech forest. We 2 didn't rest much, just spent our time removing leeches from each other before they could attach. Our guide didn't mind them. He rested under a tree, then removed them from his body after they had sucked his blood. On we went to the top. We paid our guide off and let him go. It was getting toward nightfall, and we settled into a little hut at the top. We ate some of the food we had brought, then went to sleep early, tired after the climb. We arose early for the sunrise and to view Mt Everest in the far distance. If you don't have time for a long trek, this could be for you. Great views from the top.
