Shikara-style Krisnhna Mandir Temple (Chayasim Deval) stands out with its ornate stonework. Built in 1637 by King Siddhinarsingh Malla to house Hindu deities. Under the twenty-one golden pinnacles, three floors enshrine Hindu deities: the first floor is dedicated to Krishna, the second to Shiva and the third to Lokeshwor. See beautiful paintings from the Ramayana in the interior. Admire the stunning columns with their intricate stone carvings and embellishments. See the statue of man-bird Garuda kneeling with folded arms on the top of the column facing the temple. Entrance to the inside of the temple is forbidden for non-Hindus.
