Peace Temple, Pokhara

The peace which you get after climbing to almost 500 steep stairs is matchless. Surrounded by the ecstatic Annapurna ranges and the beautiful inexplicable view is matchless. If you are driving your own vehicle be prepared for a very very steep route. The roads are in good condition but if you get stuck on a high inclination use your handbrakes efficiently. Overall its a nice place to visit

We took a small boat to cross the lake which got us to the bottom of the hill on top of which the pagoda seats. There is a long staircase going up through the forest, a very nice path to take although it can be slippery when wet. From the top you're supposed to have a great view of the mountains around, unfortunately it was cloudy when we went so we didn't see much but the view of Pokhara and the lake was nice. We went to a restaurant next to the pagoda for lunch and that was lovely. Must be even better with a clear view!
