At Peace Temple, explore the 35 m (115 ft) tall Buddhist pagoda-style monument which symbolizes peace and compassion. Situated on a hilltop at the height of about 1,100 m (3,610 ft), the white temple offers a panoramic view of the lake, valley, and city, as well as the Himalayan range. The monument has two tiers, one for tourists and one for devotees to circumambulate the Buddha statue. Visit the site, which means "peace pagoda," either by crossing the lake by boat, or by going on an adventurous uphill trek.   • the pagoda is located on a hill. we traveled by boat and took a short hike over slippery steps on top. better wear good shoes if you decide to walk up and it rained the day before or over night ;) we....  more

  • It’s a short hike and the Pagoda is on top of the hill. The ground surrounding the structure is quite open and with good view of the pews lake and the Pokhara city.

  • Its very calm and cool . It will take some energy of yours to go via the stairs but after reaching there you will be rewarded with the divine place. You can do meditation there. There are so many coffee shops there where you can have a sip of it while watching the beautiful scenery.
  • Beautiful place! we rented a boat, went over the lake, and then climbed in about one hour to the pagoda. Really nice. Even when it rains!
