Kapiti Island Nature Tours, Paraparaumu

Our overnight trip to Kapiti island with my family was magnificent. We took my 10 month old and nearly 4 year old sons and they were brilliant and so accommodating. The island is beautiful, the guides knowledgeable and the birds spectacular. Also the food at the lodge was fantastic and the set up is great, very relaxed and family friendly. We heard Kiwi but unfortunately didn't get to see them this time (they had seen them the night before) so we will just have to come back again to spend more time and see them.

What an awesome trip. I felt safe on boat trip over to the North End of Kapiti. The knowledge gained from the historical talk from the guide when we arrived was great. I learned so much. I climbed up through beautiful bush, hearng bird life, then around the shoreline seeing beautiful coastal views.
