Stop by and take some photos at Al Alam Palace, one of six residences of Oman’s ruler, Sultan Qaboos. Situated in Old Muscat, the palace was built in 1972, and is usually used by the sultan to receive guests and host official functions. Although visitors are not allowed to enter the grounds, you can view the extravagant mansion and its meticulously manicured lawns from the gate. Nice place, architecture is a bit weird to my eyes but part of its beauty is the simplicity and wide angle views. colours are vibrant and beautiful. green gardens are all around adding up to its beauty. a must see landmark if visiting Muscat.

Pleasant place. Calm and peaceful ambience. Old structures are preserved meticulously and jells well with modern architecture. Beautiful lawns with variety of flowers for a memorable photo shoot.
