Stopped here as part of a MBTours half day excursion (although we have visited before). The walk to the viewing point is not too steep and it’s a decent path. From the top you get fantastic views...

One of the most beautiful spots of the island. Extremely nice, but difficult access for the brave. I do not recommend it when you are driving the first day on Madeira. Food, souvenir shops, and viewpoint.

Incredible views over the mountain ranges and just a short walk up from the parking lot (although there are quite a few stairs!) For photographers, it’s not really an ideal sunset spot as the mountains block the light of the sun as it sets
