A great bite-sized attraction without the tour groups. Climb the narrow twisty stairs to the top of the tower to enjoy a great view of the Coimbra in solitude. I found the staff helpful in filling in.... more

Amusing and very interesting way to get to know Coimbra university history. There are several interacting experiments with light to get to know some science phenomena. Recommended for all ages. Very useful to buy the ticket online with also other attractions included

We enjoyed the Science Museum very much, but about 1/3rd of the interactice displays did not work. The people in the museum were very nice, but the people in the ticket office were very rude. Basically chastised us for not hearing what they said, and accused us of lying about what were were told by one of museum employees.
