    Beautiful place, feeling of a "lost" or "hidden" valley. It is popular with tourists as everything in Madeira, but much more quiet than other places. Reachable only by car. Surprisingly, not expensive. Beautiful, breathtaking vistas.

    Beautiful scenic place. Stunning views of the area. Highest point to view the valleys. Highly recommended. Beautiful church in the village. Tried the cheshunt cake and bread, quite nice. Few places to eat and drink locally in the village. Cheap place to buy souvenirs.
