Madeira Divepoint, Funchal

I learned to dive there back in 2018 by doi g my OWD certification and have come back this year to get my Adventure OWD certification. Overall, the staff is passionate and caring, the accommodations such as the pools, the easy access to the sea and boats as well as the many showers and the abundance of material are perfect to learn and enjoy diving. (The material is in great condition too.) To give you an idea of the professionalism; I forgot my diving logbook today at the dive center and they got it delivered it to my hotel less than 4h later. Hope to be back soon to dive again, and thank you to all the instructors and staff for everything!

I would happily recommend Madeira Dive Point to anybody visiting Madeira and considering scuba diving. My daughter is 16 and is fairly recently PADI qualified, so has limited experience. The staff here were wonderful with her. They were reassuring and supportive, whilst giving her the independence to learn for herself. They recommended a shallow shore dive initially, so they were able to assess her ability and confidence. The following day, she went on a boat dive with a small group. She was thrilled to have seen Moray eels, Grouper, Barracuda, and a whole range of other smaller and brightly coloured fish. This is a holiday she will definitely remember for a lifetime.
