  • Super cool for kids 5-6+ age. Museum showing basic physics, shipping rules, knots, maps. Good price. Adult + two kids = 10 Eur
  • I travelled 30 minutes for this museum and I cant say I wasnt disappointed, firstly there is no parking, even though at the entrance I saw 2 cars parked, if they could at least let in a few cars that would be convenient, especially because most people are travelling with children. I had to drive round the town twice just to find parking. At the entrance the woman sitting there didn't when bother to get up and assist with the door seeing I had a child and a stroller, she just watched me struggle. There were some stuff at the reception my daughter touched and she was told not to. As a "touch everything" museum I'd assume everything is touchable, they should really remove the stuff that cannot be touched to higher shelves. I'm guessing they were items for sale. Entrance price is cheap which is good, however everything from there just seems a little dull, nothing seems very exciting for kids apart from the submarine that was very colourful and had sounds and buttons and twisty handles. Some of the activities need maintenance too, for example the rowing machine - only 1 row worked. The garden was fun for my daughter but it all needs maintenance, there's a lot of overgrown weeds and just seems run down. Views from the garden are quite nice of the harbour too. The boat and water activity kept my daughter entertained and she loved trying to figure out how to unlock the treasure chest. The place is quite small too, so it definitely isn't worth travelling to put yourself through so much for not much. Just take your kids to a park and you'll have the same fun! If you have older children who are genuinely interested in science then this place is interesting but it's not really well suited for children below 3 apart from the few things I mentioned above.
