Praia do Canavial, Lagos

DO NOT JUST TRY TO SCRAMBLE DOWN TO THIS BEACH! There is a specific staircase, trying to get down your own way is impossible and dangerous - once you go down through the gap in the wooden walkway, go along to the right until you reach the green metal fence, and towards the cliff edge you will see a warning sign. The staircase is just to the right of the sign (see photos). Fantastic peaceful nudist beach for sunbathing and swimming, despite rocks and seaweed.

Beach with no tourists at all (at least on September). It is quite difficult to arrive, as you have to jump over the “wood way”, and follow a dirt road.. after 5 minutes, you will be surprised. Place to be calm, have some drinks and food and spend some hours there!
