The Douro Valley River Cruise was an outstanding excursion! It was a seven-hour boat ride up the River viewing the many bridges and passing through locks, which included Europe's tallest river lock and concluded with a tour/tasting at a local port wine producer's facility, which was followed by the 90 minute air-conditioned bus ride back to Porto. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

You can actually taste the history of this beautiful place. Lots of cultural events along the river, music and souvenirs will make this visit unique and magic. Sunset by the river is very recommended!!!!
