I didn't stay at Quinta da Terca, but two years in a row I have spent a month on the island and made a point of taking dressage lessons with Nelson. He is without a doubt the best instructor I have ever had - even compared to more high end equestrian centres in Portugal. Every year I will go back to take lessons with Nelson. He is also a superb guide - very safety conscious.
