Ponte antiga sobre o Rio Gilao, Tavira

We stayed one night in Tavira and this bridge is one of the most visit attraction in Tavira. I think the local authority can do more about the river to attract more visitors here (for example canoe, etc). There is nothing special here, it depends on the reason of your visit. Pros: 1. Entrance accessible for wheelchair. 2. Free parking nearby. 3. Parking accessible for wheelchair. 4. Live music in the afternoon from local people at the bridge. 5. Beautiful view from the river. 6. Many restaurants near the river.

It was low tide on our arrival and got to experience all the creatures and pools of fish feeding. The Roman bridge was very interesting and lots of historic signage in several languages. People were always friendly, and cities were very clean, and safe.
