This was a stop for us on a foggy day. We new view would be limited but all the views were limited. We spent about 15 minutes total. Watch your head at top of stairs. It’s a very low ceiling

Great 360 ° view. The lookout can be reached by car, or parked by the road and a short walk along the way. At the time of my visit, the condition was as it is in the photos. The observation tower is currently being renovated.

White Castle (Castelo Branco ) is a small two-storey tower in the shape of a medieval Fortis. One time, the owners of the land have constructed the castle at the top of a hill, and it would have the function of overseeing the surrounding areas. It is good to go and see it, and from the top, you can see Furnas lake and Villa Franca do Compo. Sometimes you can have all to yourselves and to have a picnic at the top.
