I was all over the map (literally) until I realized the dotted lines are the park boundaries and the clear lines are the paths. I made a 3 hour hike into a thoroughly enjoyable 7 hour hike!

Hottest and most humid hike I have ever done. If you start the journey to the top, be prepared for a battle against your mind. Do not give up though, as the views from the peak are to die for... Bring lots of water and patience!

Easy to reach from Gwangju Songjeong train station - a Subway ride and follow by bus 54. However, took one of the two shorter 4.9km Geotrail 2 and there was absolutely nothing to see, not even red maples in late October in the first 1.4km hike up to Tokki Deung Hill - a huge disappointment! Resting chairs are only available not too long after the climb but were getting lesser as we ascend up. After one hour of hard climbing (with 2 rest stops) covering 1.4km, we retrace our footsteps to come down for a nice lunch! Not for the not so young & not so fit. Think twice about going here! Hope we have better luck with Naejangsan National Park soon.
