  • Jirisan is a massive, unforgiving, utterly brutal mountain to hike. And I loved every painstaking, and breathtaking moment of it. I unfortunately did not start at the beginning (miscommunication on my part) but somewhere in the middle which was Hadong village. The ascent to the trail as well as the ridge was challenging enough, but when you get to the peak, it gets darn near completely vertical. It's worth it though. Absolutely the best hike I have ever done!
  • The scenery of Jirisan National Park is breathtaking! It views are amazing, and it’s such a great place to go hiking! My friends and I did the full route for 4-day-long trip with 3 night in the shelters. It was an amazing experience, but also a little bit of a challenge, because we had to carry all our food in our backpacks during the whole trip, what accounted for around 7-10kg on our backs. But it was absolutely worth it!!! I do recommend it to anyone, even those who are not really into hiking, because this area can change your minds 😊💕
