Odusan Unification Tower, Paju

Great location to get a glimpse of North Korea. Easily accessible by public transport. Another option to think about if you don't want to get up early for a 4am start to go to the DMZ. Only 3000 Won entry. There are free binoculars available pointing to North Korea as well as a few pointing back to South Korea. The walk down also has lots of beautiful Cherry blossom trees. Check closing times of the observatory for the day you plan to visit and try to allocate at least 2 hours. There's also a nice cafe where you can sit indoors, enjoy the view while sipping on a nice cup of tea. Could get windy outside, bring a jumper.

Clean place throughout. If your going here there is a courtesy bus down below on main road. I walked up and its also nice with good views to North Korea and locally. Not busy when I went and use of spotting scopes free. Yes free! You can see farm workers in North Korea working as well as the lush green fields and surrounding mountains. To enter Tower was like 2000kwn its nothing really but worth the visit.
