Take a laid-back cruise on a traditional wooden boat, or ride a water bicycle across the surface of Soesokkak Estuary. Originally named “lying down ox” or "Soedun" in Korean, the estuary offers interesting views of curious lava formations overgrown with pine trees. Watch “tewoo” (large traditional wooden rafts) being hauled across the estuary by a rope strung between the riverbanks, or ride on a transparent kayak, allowing you to see what’s beneath the water's surface. Stroll on the black sand beach along the lazy river, where the fresh water meets the ocean. Head to the beach cafe and taste the mandarin and orange ice cream, a local specialty made using fruit grown in the area. • This is a very beautiful place.. one of the best tourist attractions in jaju island.. beauty of mature at its peak can be seen here.. the ocean and mountains.. you can ride a boat yourself here only for 20000 won.. also the scenes and nature is well preserved..
  • Absolutely amazing, the beach was beautiful and so was kayaking in the Estuary it was very peaceful and the water was very tranquil. There were lifeguards posted along the water in boats it was nice to see safety taken so seriously. There is even a little electric car pulling a train for kids. Definitely try the Thai Peanut Ice Cream at one of the stands, absolutely amazing!!
