Create an itinerary including Haneul Park
Part of a larger site built to commemorate the 17th FIFA World Cup, the lofty Haneul Park affords panoramic views of the site and mountains beyond. The park was actually built on a 15-year-old landfill site, which held 92 million tons of garbage. Haneul Park was built on the highest mountain of trash, which has been utterly transformed into a verdant hill, covered in various trees and flowering shrubs and grasses. Check out the various viewing platforms as you take the walkway to the top of the hill, and look out for the five wind-powered generators that feed the park its energy. • Very beautiful and large park. It's actually on top of a hill. With the beautiful view of Seoul and Han River. There was quite a bit of people hiking and taking pictures. The pink mulley section was closed off, so only four star. There is a hiking trail on the base of the Hill with some nice tall trees planted in a roll, a must see.
  • This is a very nice park to go to if you have some time to spend in Seul! It is huge and beautiful. There is even a transport service to go around the park for a very good price! You have some nice views from the city and there is a nice spot to have a picnic or a nice break!
