  • Whenever my friends from overseas visit Korea, I take them to this museum. All of them really enjoyed. Not only their special exhibition but also the permanent one-Korean traditional art is great.

  • A very nice museum with a very pleasing atmosphere to enjoy Art. While they have some contemporary Art, I found myself enjoying the permanent traditional Art display more. There are a few different display sectors, the permanent display are free to enjoy but you will still need to register online at their website for a free ticket. As for other seasonal display will be chargeable depending on the display. Museum only opens at 10am sharp, it is adviseable to come early. Later part of the day there will usually be groups and school groups which can be quite crowded
  • Wow! Just wow. Not only is the quality of the artifacts exhibited world world class but both the architecture of the building and the designó of the exhibits is, too. And of course it’s a huge added bonus that entrance is free to all, other than the temporary special exhibitions. If you want to see world class Korean art in a serene setting—for free—this is your museum. While in the area why not walk around and enjoy the artistry of the buildings in the neighborhood.
