    Being one of the major national parks in the country, Chiak emits the graciousness presenting the scale and depth from the inner side of the peninsula.

    Hiked to the peak through Guryongsa Temple route in November. For first timers and not expert hikers it will take around 6-8 hours (it took us 8) to reach the peak (Birobong peak). The view is spectacular but it is not an easy hike. It is highly recommended to prepare before the hike. There are two routes on the way to the peak. Via staircase or the rocky route.
