Valletta, Malta to Vienna is an approximately 5.5-hour flight. You can also do a combination of bus and train; or take a bus. Expect little chillier temperatures when traveling from Valletta in June; daily highs in Vienna reach 29°C and lows reach 15°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 4th (Tue) early enough to go by car to Hallstatt.

On the 5th (Wed), enjoy breathtaking views from Hallstatt Skywalk "Welterbeblick", then make a trip to Central Square Marktplatz, then contemplate the waterfront views at Hallstatter See, and finally stroll the grounds of Beinhaus, Karner, Ossuary.

Drive from Vienna to Hallstatt in 3.5 hours. Alternatively, you can take a train. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 5th (Wed) so you can go by car to Salzburg.
