A lively provincial capital, Khasab has been termed the "Norway of Arabia," because of its dramatic coastline, where dramatic inlets resemble the fjords of Scandinavia.Start off your visit on the 1st (Wed): explore the activities along Khawr Najd and then make a trip to Khasab Fort. Muscat to Khasab is an approximately 3.5-hour flight. You can also drive; or do a combination of bus and car. In June, daily temperatures in Khasab can reach 43°C, while at night they dip to 36°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 2nd (Thu) early enough to fly to Nizwa.
