Santana, short form for Santa Ana is a municipality along the northern coast of the island of Madeira, in Portuguese archipelago of the same name. Satisfy your inner culture vulture at Igreja Do Senhor Bom Jesus and Santana Mother Church. Get outdoors at Laurissilva Forest and Haliotis Madeira. Go for a jaunt from Santana to Machico to see Clube de Golf Santo da Serra about 32 minutes away. There's much more to do: explore the striking landscape at Reserva Natural da Rocha do Navio, take in nature's colorful creations at Roseiral da Quinta do Arco, trek along Levada Caldeirao do Inferno, and stroll around Parque Florestal das Queimadas.
