Pack the 28th (Sat) with family-friendly diversions at Lotte World. There's much more to do: get engrossed in the history at Gyeongbokgung Palace, make a trip to Bukchon Hanok Village, admire the striking features of Deoksugung, and take a stroll through Insadong.

If you are flying in from Canada, the closest major aiports are Gimpo International Airport, Incheon International Airport and Osan Air Base. In September in Seoul, expect temperatures between 26°C during the day and 25°C at night. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 2nd (Wed) early enough to fly to Jeju.

Jeju — 3 nights

Island of the Gods

The main town on the largest of Korea's islands, Jeju, has a volcanic landscape protected by UNESCO. The World Heritage-listed volcanic island includes the country's highest peak, sets of impressive lava tubes and columns, and several crater lakes.
On the 3rd (Thu), contemplate the long history of Seongeup Folk Village, take in the awesome beauty at Seongsan Ilchulbong, and then explore the fascinating underground world of Manjanggul Cave. On the 4th (Fri), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: head outdoors with Gwakji Gwamul Beach, then see the interesting displays at O’sulloc Tea Museum, and then explore the wealth of natural beauty at Halla Mountain.
