Seoul — 10 nights

One of east Asia's major cultural and financial centers, Seoul boasts five World Heritage Sites and a huge selection of museums, temples, shrines, palaces, parks, gardens, and glass-and-steel skyscrapers.
Step out of the city life by going to Cheonggyecheon Stream and Ilsan Lake Park. Popular historic sites such as Gyeongbokgung Palace and Deoksugung are in your itinerary. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Seoul: Paju (The Third Tunnel & DMZ Haemaru Village), Korean Folk Village (in Yongin) and One Mount Water Park (in Goyang). Spend the 3rd (Wed) exploring nature at Bukhansan National Park. There's still lots to do: take a stroll through Insadong, learn about all things military at The War Memorial of Korea, contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Jongmyo Shrine, and shop like a local with Namdaemun Market.

If you are flying in from United States, the closest major aiports are Gimpo International Airport, Incheon International Airport and Osan Air Base. Expect a daytime high around 72°F in September, and nighttime lows around 71°F. Finish your sightseeing early on the 10th (Wed) so you can travel back home.
