Busan — 2 nights

The country's second city, Busan has often been referred to as South Korea's summer capital.
Kick off your visit on the 20th (Sat): take some stellar pictures from Taejongdae, contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Haedong Yonggungsa, and then take in the spiritual surroundings of Beomeosa Temple. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the 21st (Sun): make a trip to Yongdusan Park, kick back and relax at Gwangalli Beach, then get outside with Haeundae Beach, and finally get up close and personal with brilliant marine life at SEA LIFE Busan Aquarium.

Amritsar, India to Busan is an approximately 14-hour flight. You can also drive. The time zone changes from India Standard Time to Korean Standard Time, which is usually a 3.5 hour difference. On the 22nd (Mon), contemplate the waterfront views at Donggung Palace and Wolji Pond, steep yourself in history at Bulguksa Temple, and then steep yourself in history at Seokguram.

The main town on the largest of Korea's islands, Jeju, has a volcanic landscape protected by UNESCO. The World Heritage-listed volcanic island includes the country's highest peak, sets of impressive lava tubes and columns, and several crater lakes.
Venture out of the city with trips to Seogwipo (Seongsan Ilchulbong & Cheonjiyeon Falls). There's lots more to do: explore the fascinating underground world of Manjanggul Cave, enjoy the sand and surf at Hamdeok Beach, get outside with Hyeopjae Beach, and take in the pleasant sights at Handam Coastal Trail.
